Pennsylvania Uniform Environmental Covenants Act
As of February 19, 2008, the Pennsylvania Uniform Environmental Covenants Act (UECA) mandates the use of environmental covenants on any property where engineering or institutional controls are used to demonstrate compliance with federal or state laws, including PADEP’s Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act (Act 2) and Storage Tank and Spill Prevention Act.
